How a network affiliate programme works
The basic model works by a website owner registering with an affiliate scheme, this can be an internal or third party scheme. The affiliate is then screened for relevance and quality and places various links and banners on their web site. When a visitor clicks through from these links the web site owner is paid an agreed fee or commission.
